Using the Kanban Board

The Kanban Board is a tool that allows you to visually manage your tasks according to their status in your workflow. The board consists of Columns representing task statuses and Cards representing tasks.

Basic Operations

To change the status of a task, simply drag and drop the corresponding card from one column to another with your mouse.
You can create a new task directly in a specific status by clicking the ”+ Add Task” button at the bottom of each column. Just enter the task title and press Enter.
  • Add New Column: You can add a new workflow status (column) by clicking the ”+ Add Status” button on the far right of the board.
  • Edit Columns: You can change the name and color of a column by clicking the Edit (edit-outline) icon that appears when you hover over a column header.
  • Delete Columns: You can delete a column by clicking the Delete (trash-can-outline) icon that appears next to the edit icon.
  • Reorder Columns: You can reorder the columns according to your workflow by dragging a column header to the left or right.
Authorization:
  • Column Management: Managing statuses (columns) on the Kanban board is usually restricted to users with high-level roles such as Project Manager.
  • Moving Tasks: Changing the status of a task (moving a card from one column to another) requires permission to edit the task.
